It’s Already November - What’s Your Plan for the Final Quarter?

Can you believe we’re in the last quarter of the year already? This season can be one of the busiest or one of the slowest and the difference usually comes down to one thing: planning.

Before the holidays sweep us away, it’s time to map out what you’re doing to finish strong, serve your clients well, and set yourself up for a thriving start to the new year.

Let’s talk strategy.

Will You Be Running Holiday Promotions?

There are so many routes you can take:
    •    Black Friday specials
    •    Small Business Saturday offers
    •    Cyber Monday deals
    •    Gift card bonuses
    •    Limited-time service packages
    •    Retail bundles

Or maybe you do a signature tradition like mine - 12 Days of December. Each day has a different offer, and clients love the excitement of waking up to the “Deal of the Day.” It builds anticipation, urgency, and daily engagement. (Plus- yes -it’s fun!)

Client Appreciation: Are You Sending Cards or Gifts?

The holidays are the perfect time to nurture loyalty. A few ideas:
    •    Thanksgiving “I’m grateful for you” cards
    •    Holiday cards in December
    •    A small gift to top spenders or VIP members
    •    A New Year card with an intention or wellness theme
    •    A future discount they can redeem in slower months (my favorite!)

Personally, I send a 20% off coupon that is only valid in January and February - and only to clients who saw me this year. It rewards loyalty and fills a slower season. Win-win.

You can do the same or offer:
    •    A free brow tint with a booked service
    •    A complimentary add-on in Jan/Feb
    •    A small retail sample bag
    •    A handwritten thank-you card (still one of the most powerful tools we have)

Are You Hosting Any Events?

Events can be in-person or virtual. Consider:

Holiday Open House
– Invite clients to mingle, book ahead, and shop specials
– Offer small goodie bags or mini-service demos
– Partner with another local business for cross-promotion

💻 Virtual Live Event
– Go live on Facebook, Instagram or even Zoom to reveal specials
– Do a product spotlight or “Best Gifts Under $50” segment
– Teach a mini holiday skin or self-care lesson and share a code at the end

The Biggest Key: PLAN AHEAD

Once you decide what you’re doing:

✔️ Put dates on the calendar
✔️ Start teasing promotions early
✔️ Schedule your emails, texts, and social posts now
✔️ Prep graphics or print materials
✔️ Automate anything you can

This quarter should feel exciting, not chaotic.

Final Thought

There’s no “one right way” to do Q4 - but there is power in being intentional. Whether you choose:
    •    A legendary Black Friday weekend
    •    A personalized holiday card campaign
    •    An open house or online event
    •    A signature December promotion
    •    Or all of the above

…just make a plan and execute it with confidence. Your clients want connection, care, and consistency and when you show up for them, they show up for you.
